The strange thing, is that the problem occurs only in one machine. Both machines run debian/testing. Both were updated at the same time. The only difference I'm aware of is the video adapter - Integrated Intel and Nvidia in the machine where the problem appeared. The integrated Intel only in the machine where it works...
