Package: python-edbus Version: 0.5.0+r49577-1 Severity: wishlist User: [email protected] Usertags: proposed-removal
python-edbus appears to be dead upstream: it is no longer available from <https://download.enlightenment.org/rel/bindings/python/>, and its git repository <https://git.enlightenment.org/legacy/bindings/python/python-e_dbus.git/> was last touched in 2012. In Debian, the last maintainer upload was 2011 and there has been no sign of activity since my NMU in 2015. dak reports that nothing depends on it: > smcv@coccia ~ % dak rm -R -n python-edbus > Will remove the following packages from unstable: > > python-edbus | 0.5.0+r49577-1.2 | source, amd64, arm64, armel, armhf, > hurd-i386, i386, kfreebsd-amd64, kfreebsd-i386, mips, mips64el, mipsel, > powerpc, ppc64el, s390x [...] > Checking reverse dependencies... > No dependency problem found. I'm aware that I've probably left it too late to remove this package from Debian 9, but I don't think it should be in Debian 10. If you agree, please reassign this bug to the archive administrators by sending these commands to [email protected], replacing nnnnnn with the bug number: severity nnnnnn normal reassign nnnnnn ftp.debian.org retitle nnnnnn RM: python-edbus -- RoQA; obsolete, no reverse dependencies thanks Conversely, if you think this package should remain in Debian, please close this bug. Thanks, S
