Just for record: Use of Liberation fonts causes: XSLT stylesheets DocBook - LaTeX 2e (0.3.9-1) =================================================== Build stdin.pdf Character U+300 (̀) not in font 'Liberation Mono/OT:mapping=tex-text;' Character U+300 (̀) not in font 'Liberation Mono/OT:mapping=tex-text;!Missing character: There is no ̀ in font Liberation Mono/OT:mapping=tex-text;' 'debian-reference.en.pdf' successfully built I have no idea where this U+300 Combining Grave accent comes from. But this is missing in Liberation Mono. Also Liberation seems to creates more pages. Liberation2 seems to have this +U300 character. Osamu
