I rebooted the full system, but that did not help: After logging in again, the keyboard doesn't work. Something is not starting automatically the way it should. Looking at im-launch, I can't find anything there that would start ibus-daemon -- but then, there's lots of stuff calling each other, I may easily be missing it. This just means right now, I don't know where ti start debugging. ; Ralf
