First of all the scripts are not of the quality that we feel comfortable releasing and no-one at the moment is volunteering to put in the effort to improve them to that level. They are really meant to be q&d dev tools for one-off jobs. They would also (per Debian requirements) need to have manpages et al and there are no volunteers to create and maintain those either.
