Guess I should give at least a partial list of the extra bugfixes included in the #819136 patch series:
#668613 part of patch #0008, simply including a much longer list of the chips known to successfully driven by this firmware. #760813 part of patch #0008, doesn't really solve the issue, but provides a reasonable workaround. Look for the Ids on the known internal bus. #756664 part of patch #0005, this requires the package author to successfully get a clean copy of the tarball, but this greatly increases the odds of someone else noticing something going wrong. #810161 part of patch #0009, simply update the appropriate magic value. The precursor is patch #0002 which moves all the magic values to one section. #819129 part of patch #0002, simply unpack only the required file and the use of /tmp is heavily reduced. -- (\___(\___(\______ --=> 8-) EHM <=-- ______/)___/)___/) \BS ( | ehem+sig...@m5p.com PGP 87145445 | ) / \_CS\ | _____ -O #include <stddisclaimer.h> O- _____ | / _/ 8A19\___\_|_/58D2 7E3D DDF4 7BA6 <-PGP-> 41D1 B375 37D0 8714\_|_/___/5445
