this bug report was obviously wrong closed, so thanks for checking this again and bring this report back to attention. I've asked Simon Deziel about your requested changes and he has partially taken parts from your patch and also from Felix to address the needed changes. He takes finally a mixup both patches into the upstream apparmor profile for Thunderbird. https://github.com/simondeziel/aa-profiles/commits/master We will pick those commits into the Thunderbird apparmor profile in source:icedove for the next upload.
