A backport of 1.7.7 has been uploaded and is waiting for approval
(because it's the first backport for stretch). 1.7.8 will be uploaded in
about 2 days.

We may also push some patches in stretch-updates for users not relying
on backports. We need to select them. As there was some regressions in
1.7.6 and 1.7.7, we need to be careful when selecting them.
