Lintian can't decide between

W: zsh source: useless-autoreconf-build-depends autotools-dev

E: zsh source: missing-build-dependency-for-dh_-command
dh_autotools-dev_restoreconfig => autotools-dev

for a compat level 10 source package.

The only change between these two errors/warnings is this commit:

commit d092760816ef0149321db35dc9ac68d707600407 (debian)
Author: Axel Beckert <>
Date: Thu Aug 10 21:40:15 2017 +0200

    Drop build-dependencies on autotools-dev and dh-autoreconf
No more needed with debhelper compatibility level 10 and the according
    versioned build-dependency.
    Thanks: Lintian for the hint.

The relevant lines from debian/rules are these:

     95 dh_testdir
     96 dh_autoreconf_clean

    102 dh_clean

(See for
some discussion and reasoning about these lines.)

As far as I can see, the missing-build-dependency-for-dh_-command error
is the wrong one as the package builds fine under pbuilder with this
commit and without these build-dependencies despite this error.
