I'd need to ask the upstream author (Ryan J Ollos et al) first about his own willingness to keep maintaining the hack, as there's no sign of new tagged releases for few years after 0.2. Seems that releasing rev 14524 with Trac 1.2 compatibility fixes would improve our situation. If it's dead though, I'll not very happily remove tracking the upstream releases from the debian packaging.
