Dear Takaki, The update from legit 0.1.1-4 to 0.4.1-3 is stalled in Ubuntu, because the Ubuntu build of the package has wound up with unsatisfiable dependencies on python-gitdb2 and python-smmap2 packages which do not exist. The Debian build of the package does not have these dependencies; but if I rebuild the legit package in Debian unstable, the dependencies appear there as well. Since legit uses dh_python2 and /usr/share/dh-python/dist/cpython2_fallback includes a mapping from the module names to the correct package dependencies, I don't know why this is not working.
