Vincas, after installing your patched
/etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.thunderbird and:
# aa-enforce /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.thunderbird
Setting /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.thunderbird to enforce mode.
thunderbird successfully reads the signature below from the local file
~/.signature-...@transient.nz .
I tested with thunderbird 1:52.5.0-1 and apparmor/apparmor-utils
2.11.1-4 on up-to-date sid amd64.
