AFAIK there's no notion of "package ownership" within the team, I'm just preparing this release. I'm the new old maintainer and Eric Heintzmann is the old old maintainer, but we're both kinda new. It's confusing, I know. Eric was maintainer long time ago (until 2004-2005, I think) and then has gone MIA. I used to work on GNUstep between 2002-2014 but have been MIA for at least 2 years, probably more. Gürkan has been around for most of the time.
