Package: mc Version: 3:4.8.19-1 Severity: wishlist 'Fake half tabs' in Tabulation section of Editor options is extremeally annoying, if not stupid.
It is better for everybody to either set 'Fill tabs with spaces' instead or (which I prefer), no tabulation-modifying options with 'Tab spacing: 4'. Using fake half tabs, especially by default, serves no purpose, and leads to garbage files from newcomers, especially if 'Visible tabs' options is not enabled.
