I admit that f2c is a pretty low priority package for me - thus I
might come back in a year or so - sorry. :-(

I totally agree - I'd also love if Github might consider to some
more sensible distribution method (some popular Git platform).

If you have contact to upstream it might be sensible to try.

This would help since while your other mail presents "some kind of
