It seems your emacsen-common installation is broken, so the
byte-compilation doesn't work.
To repair your system, reinstall the emacsen-common package.
apt-get --reinstall install emacsen-common
And then reinstall the add-on packages to byte-compile.
apt-get --reinstall install w3m-el-snapshot
