I was thinking about a workaround in isenkram, not appstream. I already have code in place to work around a memory leak / inability to release resources in python-apt, by forking before loading the package list to avoid having the entire list of packages in memory also after isenkramd is done looking for relevant packages. :) -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
