I believe the point Aron is trying to get through to those of you who care about init.d scripts, is that you should work with the upstream project to get the scripts included there, to avoid having the Debian packages deviate from upstream any more. In other words, you are barking up the wrong tree. Try the upstream tree, it might work better. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
