Look at http://lifc.univ-fcomte.fr/~dedu/258.ro.pdf (1MB) (the content is not important for the bug). The rectangle at top on pages 2-6 is rendered very slowly. The rectangle on the right side on page 4 is rendered also very slowly (about 30 sec.) on my machine (PowerPC 1GHz). With xpdf 3.01-7 on an i386 they are rendered much faster (about 2 sec. for the right one), even if the processor was bought about at the same time as me (however, I use powerpc). Is a gcc optimization flag not used on powerpc? Isn't xpdf optimized for rectangles (or things like that)?
