Thanks for this pointer, J. Smith. i agree that looks like the same
thing.
This is a pretty serious bug, including risks of data loss -- i've lost
draft e-mail messages simply from searching in my inbox during message
composition.
Any chance we can backport the fix documented above into the debian
packaging?
