It can be easily extended with so called 'externals' . This package contains a CMake Module for building such externals. This package is part of the ongoing attempt to package the Pure Data microcosm for Debian (and a prerequisite of the update of the src:jsusfx package). I intend to maintain the package under the multimedia-team umbrella.
