After a fresh install of Debian 3.1, using ftp://mirrors.kernel.org as the source for the net-install, "aptitude upgrade" at the command line fails after modifying sources.list
from "stable" to "testing" and commenting out the security repository line. No other changes to the system were made. Running "apt-get upgrade" works fine and running "aptitude" then hitting "u" works fine. I've seen emails which say this bug was handled in version
0.2.14, but it does not seem to be the case. Very simple to reproduce with a fresh install, modifying sources.list to testing, and running "aptitude update" at the command line.
