I can't reproduce this behavior within a Gnome3 session, no matter what I try. Currently I'm using wayland. This let me assume this is then mainly a issue within the KDE desktop environment, not Thunderbird. For sure this needs more proofing by checking this situation within other DEs. -- Regards Carsten Schoenert
