I'm still contemplating what the benefits and downsides of such a split are and how to best approach it. To better understand the debhelper requirements: is splitting out systemd-sysusers mandatory to get support in debhelper and if so, could you go into more detail why? Would it help, if the systemd package had a versioned Provides: systemd-sysusers? Michael
