seb128 says Trevinho is likely to be working on this. Judging by https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=936515 and https://salsa.debian.org/mozilla-team/firefox/-/commit/1e04e9b9d95c9efde7928bc41804cc20a1bb868b it looks like we might be able to avoid Python 2 in the build system for this one. smcv
