that is a pure information to narrow down what is happen. :-( At least please use reportbug to submit bug reports or use the output of reportbug so we have some information what environment you are using. > $ reportbug --template thunderbird All lines since "-- System Information:" are the interesting part for starting. For further investigating please tell us also something about the hardware you are running Debian. What else did you have tried? Did this happen only since the last update? Are some AddOns installed that might get disabled temporarily to see if they have some effect? Could you please try to create a GDB log from the crash?
