When trying to print a document in LyX, whether new or previously created. This also applies to templates installed with LyX such as the koma-letter2.lyx template or for instance hollywood.lyx template (these installed in /usr/share/lyx/templates). It's actually a LaTeX error: Font T1/cmr/m/n/12_ecrm1200 at 12.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found. Some very simple templates such as letter.lyx will print. I removed and reinstalled all lyx, latex, and tetex packages I could think of with no effect.
