Actually, I'm not completely happy with its quality.

Despite seeing lines like

  [1]    10878 segmentation fault (core dumped)  ./growlight

I fail to find those core dumps. :-(

They should be under /var/crash/<uid>/, but those directories are
empty and I don't understand why.

I think this is also the reason why I only was able to get such a very
short gdb backtrace (from running growlight under gdb directly) in the
initial bug report.

No hurry. I think it's an annyoing bug (as crashes are always), but so
far it doesn't seem to cause more than annoyance for the user. So I
don't consider it an urgent issue.
