And I also think this is more a problem of the configuration of the VPN. If you disagree on this it's appropriate to open a upstream issue about your trouble. Maybe an upstream issue is already existing on this. We don't have any modification regarding network or protocol usage within Thunderbird packaging. -- Regards Carsten
