Are you using Clutter? Could you check the Preferences - Image tab, if the "Use GPU acceleration via Clutter library (Requires restart)" checkbox (close to the top) is checked? I noticed somewhere that some slowdown might simply be related to using the Clutter library. If so, please try to de-check the checkbox and see if that improves performance. (Geeqie should work equally well disregarding if Clutter is used or not). /Andreas [email protected]
