Package: libauthcas-perl Version: 1.5-1 Severity: grave Tags: upstream Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, CAS authentication fails when the xml file provided by CAS servers is missing a new line character after the XML declaration. We have tested that this declaration works fine: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <cas:serviceResponse xmlns:cas='http://www.yale.edu/tp/cas'> but this one fails providing a "CAS ticket validation failed" error: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?><cas:serviceResponse xmlns:cas='http://www.yale.edu/tp/cas'> I understand that both forms of the XML file are syntactically valid and the file should be equally parsed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.13 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-15-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libauthcas-perl depends on: ii libio-socket-ssl-perl 2.044-1 ii libwww-perl 6.15-1 ii perl 5.24.1-3+deb9u7 libauthcas-perl recommends no packages. libauthcas-perl suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
