Package: rustc Version: 1.61.0+dfsg1-2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Note that I am not familiar with rustc, llvm and their relationship. But currently rustc have the following deps: Recommends: cargo (>= 0.62.0~~), cargo (<< 0.63.0~~), llvm-14 Suggests: lld-14, clang-14 and provides some symlinks (/usr/bin/rust-*) targeting commands in some of those packages. Could these symlinks be packaged in another (suggested or recommended) package like rustc-llvm with a stronger dependency to the corresponding llvm packages so to not have broken symlinks if these llvm ones are not installed while rustc is installed?
