Note that there are also the following two symlinks that are broken in such a
case:
/usr/lib/rustlib/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/gcc-ld/ld -> 
../../../../../bin/rust-lld
/usr/lib/rustlib/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/gcc-ld/ld64 -> 
../../../../../bin/rust-lld
