Package: libpam-ssh Version: 1.91.0-9.1 Followup-For: Bug #336291 While I haven't tried with gdm (yet), just including pam-ssh-auth before common-auth (and pam-ssh-session after common-session) works fine for login. Login works with just giving the SSH key's passphrase aswell as hitting return at the SSH passphrase prompt and logging in with the user password at the following prompt (ie. for users without a SSH key). Thus I do not see were the original submitter had a problem with this and README.Debian should be changed to suggest including pam-ssh-auth before common-auth instead of after as this does work with a passphrase on the key that is different from the user password.
Of course a nice cosmetic improvement would be to not prompt for a SSH passphrase if the the user has no SSH key. elmar -- .'"`. /"\ | :' : Elmar Hoffmann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ASCII Ribbon Campaign \ / `. `' GPG key available via pgp.net against HTML email X `- & vCards / \
