mate-system-monitor 1.26.0-4 added a new dependency on mate-session-manager. That's because it uses mate-session-check-accelerated (which is found in mate-session-manager). However, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu Kylin, and Ubuntu Unity all include mate-system-monitor in their default install. mate-session-manager ends up pulling in the MATE desktop which is definitely unwanted and disruptive for those Ubuntu flavors. Could you just drop the dependency? Things apparently have worked well enough for a while without mate-session-manager installed. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
