mate-system-monitor 1.26.0-4 added a new dependency on mate-session-manager.

That's because it uses mate-session-check-accelerated (which is found
in mate-session-manager).

mate-system-monitor in their default install. mate-session-manager
ends up pulling in the MATE desktop which is definitely unwanted and

Could you just drop the dependency? Things apparently have worked well
enough for a while without mate-session-manager installed.

My suggestion would be: introduce new bin:pkg mate-session-check-accelerated and move those libexec executables into that package. Then we can depend on it.
