I'm interested in salvaging or helping to maintain the percona-toolkit package. perconna-toolkit was almost removed from Trixie because of CVE-2024-7701 (see: #1091435) but the severity was adjusted in time to not have the package removed before the freeze as the Go code isn't built nor distributed. Following the ITS process, this package seems eligible for salvaging as upstream released several versions. The last upload for this package was made on 2020-08-30 to unstable. Could you please tell us if you agree or object on the salvaging or adding me as co-maintainer?
