Bug #1108287 in v4l2loopback reported by you has been fixed in the
Git repository and is awaiting an upload. You can see the commit
message below and you can check the diff of the fix at:

You need both patches -- the inclusion of <linux/timer.h> is just for correctness, the main fix is in the other patch (move call sites to new API, define compatibility macro for building against older kernels).

yes, but:
- both patches have been included
- <https://salsa.debian.org/debian/v4l2loopback/-/commits/686d963c2e7ed0ba2f3f09b3b2738a4437599c92> - <https://salsa.debian.org/debian/v4l2loopback/-/commit/5f31edb2cc183cfd2f443596cbd406b55b175da6> - afaict, the *other* patch (the one that actually fixes the problem) has been obsoleted by upstreams v0.15.1, and has consequently been dropped again - <https://salsa.debian.org/debian/v4l2loopback/-/commit/dc3351760dfd93173b443f2a6f875ab66a31db6b>

i imported your patchset nevertheless (thanks!), for prospective pointreleases of Debian that might include a newer kernel.
