Package: pngcheck
Version: 3.0.3-3
Running pngcheck on a PNG file immediately greets the user with:
zlib warning: different version (expected 1.2.13, using 1.3.1)
Fantastic. A cryptic warning right at the start, utterly devoid of any useful
information for the poor end user who has the misfortune to run this program.
Whose fault this is—zlib, pngcheck, or the alignment of the stars—is anyone's
guess, but I’m fairly certain it’s NOT the end user's problem.
Might I humbly suggest sparing the innocent users and fixing this?
Gratefully,
A bewildered human.
