The commit that adds a watch file is https://salsa.debian.org/debian/xfireworks/-/commit/3ac2c017e498914f7f4c7befba9bcf9b027e2d9d and it was not part of the upload, thus this bug report about missing watch file and/or upstream/metadata file should not yet be marked closed. Only after next upload the Debian uscan systems will be able to scan for new upstream versions and do other stuff based on proper machine readable reference to the upstream.
