If I read the upstream commit message correctly, the code isn't ready for production yet.

I started to work on preparing an upload to Debian, but with that odd version, I'm not sure I will ever upload it.

Totally untested packages might be available on Debian's CI servers (as soon as the build starts and succeeds) here:
