Package: dgit Version: 13.15 Severity: minor I happened to come across this bug report https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1095231 which is about the use of the word "component" both for archive areas ("main", "contrib", "non-free") and for supplementary orig tarballs.
In dpkg the name "component" is being retired. Guillem proposes some replaceent terminology in: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1095231#15 In src:dgit, we should probably follow dpkg's lead. I don't think this is a huge priority, mostly because extra orig tarballs are a niche feature, but we may get around to it, or someone might send us patches.
