Hi,
/usr/share/gtkpod/scripts/mab2vcard is almost usable out of the box;
however it:
- assume thunderbird stores things in ~/.thunderbird
whereas the Debian version stores it in ~/.mozilla-thunderbird
- genereates a list of path but doesn't check for abook.mab
existance. So, for me when I fixed it for the problem above I
get:

/home/anand/.mozilla-thunderbird/abook.mab
/home/anand/.mozilla-thunderbird/igjpwzuj.default/abook.mab
[...]
However only one of those paths exists:
eve:[~]% ls -l /home/anand/.mozilla-thunderbird/abook.mab
ls: /home/anand/.mozilla-thunderbird/abook.mab: No such file or directory
eve:[~]% ls -l /home/anand/.mozilla-thunderbird/igjpwzuj.default/abook.mab
-rw-r--r-- 1 anand anand 71208 2006-06-26 06:33
/home/anand/.mozilla-thunderbird/igjpwzuj.default/abook.mab
It ought to be able to figure that out by itself.
