Just to let you know, with the next update it will be reverted, with the following rationale: /etc/Muttrc uses black as background, and thus using default in the t-prot snippet would make that inconsistent and rather unexpected. The color scheme used in t-prot's Muttrc snippet should match mutt's own color scheme. If one changes mutt's settings it is no big deal to change t-prot one's, too.
