Will certainly be part of a khmer-desktop task, yes.

Please consider this thoroughly. There has been a huge effort to get
Khmer localization in many parts in Debian and removing a translation
because it doesn't work very well in some situations would be a quite
negative sign.

Khmer is one of the most difficult languages to render, as far as I
have understood, so having as much translated material as possible
will help a lot people working on the specific difficulties of Khmer
rendering.
