Thanks for this work, Timo!

I'm looking into trying to rebuild gitg against this (so i can use gitg
on a sha256-based git repo). It looks like i'll also need to update
src:libgit2-glib as well somehow.

Any suggestions on how to update that package? I'm a bit concerned that
it won't be able to build-depend safely on both libgit2-dev and
libgit2-experimental-dev, since those are conflicting.

I haven't really tried in detail, but would be happy to hear if anyone
has any suggestions about how to do that in a way that doesn't break
other downstream dependencies.
