Due to recently changes (verification of recipient) versions lower than 2.12.0 are actually unusable, therefore I'd like to kindly ask to backport 2.12.0+dfsg-1. Maybe this would even justify an upload to pu?
As pu is still pending I have have uploaded the new version to trixie-backports.
