If you can whip up a script file interface (ala dpkg --set-selections), I'm
sure we could make a syntax where it's easy to separate commands and package
names. Say:

  memtest86+    install
  memtest86     deinstall
  gnome         install        1000
  dist-upgrade

or something along those lines...
