Could you try again with gdk-pixbuf 2.44.4+dfsg-1 from Testing? gdk-pixbuf 2.44.5 is a major change for Debian and we need to figure out whether it's evince or gdk-pixbuf that is to blame for this issue. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
