I've reported these issues upstream as https://github.com/ghdl/ghdl/issues/3264 and https://github.com/ghdl/ghdl/issues/3265. Upstream stated that these files can be removed from GHDL, it is not required for GHDL to work. It will affect GHDLs abilitiy to compile some programs.
